Franklin goes to the beach.

We had a great vacation at the Jersey shore and Franklin loved the beach. The last two days, when we put him down to spread our towels, he scooted all the way down to the water. Here we see the last few yards.

My Latest Trick

Franklin has just figured out how to push himself up to sitting. Here's one of his early, successful attempts. With just a few more days practice he's already gotten much faster and smoother.

And should we mention that he LOVES watermelon? While he can get a lot of it into his mouth, he's still figuring out how to keep the juices in and how to chew. But a nice cold slice is perfect for teething.

Our happy-go-lucky, easy going baby is teething right now. He cut his first tooth on Saturday night and as a result has been a little mister cranky pants. However we've captured him here in a very good mood. Must be the teething toy fresh from the freezer.
